This week, our company’s independently developed four stage compression centrifugal argon compressor unit was successfully started up. Two weeks of full load operation data verified that all parameters of the unit met the design requirements, and the acceptance was successfully completed.
It is reported that the compression ratio of the unit reaches 15.6, and its mechanical and thermal performance indicators fully meet the requirements. Some detailed indicators are better than the user’s process performance requirements. The use of a multi chamber inflatable sealing system is specially developed to meet the ultra-low leakage requirements of the compressor in the argon recovery process.
The successful operation of the high compression ratio argon centrifugal unit this time is another demonstration of Kaishan’s strong technological research and development capabilities.
Kaishan is the first supplier of isothermal centrifugal compressors in China for the argon recovery industry, which pressurizes raw materials with a content of 95% crude argon and 99.999% high-purity argon. In 2020, related products were launched on the market, and there have been over a hundred successful application cases so far. These argon centrifugal compressors have undergone multiple technological innovations and applications in aerodynamics, zero leakage sealed intake IGVs, sealing pipelines, and control to meet user process requirements (below 1 ‰ leakage rate and energy consumption indicators).
The upgrade of this model is aimed at catering to more advanced argon recovery processes, helping enterprises save energy expenses and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
The centrifugal compressor business segment of Kaishan Group has achieved breakthroughs from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 10, and is growing rapidly. Entering 2023, the volume of orders has increased and the market share continues to expand. The most gratifying thing is that Kaishan’s centrifuge business is constantly making breakthroughs in high-end applications such as multi-stage compression of water vapor, centrifugal boosting of air separation, and carbon capture process boosting centrifuges, and is beginning to enter the high-end application market.
